NOVAK DJOKOVIC, 10-1 third favourite in the betting to
win Wimbledon, made it into the third round without overly impressing. Djokovic lost the first three games of the first set before fighting his way back into the match against Simon Greul. While the first set was a struggle for the number four seed, he then massacred Greul in the second set 6-1. Djokovic certainly warmed up as the match went on but his vulnerabilities were apparent and, like Andy Murray (5/2 in the overall Wimbledon betting), he will have to raise his game if he is to progress. Serbian Djokivic will play the in-form Mardy Fish
in the next match and the outsider may be worth a wager in that one. Fish
was a quarter-finalist at Queen's (also on grass) and easily beat a useful
opponent in Janko Tipsarevic to make it into round three.
